Los Angeles, CA. Local nonprofits are in need of volunteers and now you can volunteer…
Los Angeles, CA. Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Los Angeles is gearing up for its annual benefit, the DreamBuilders Gala, on September 19, 2026, at the Skirball Cultural Center in LA. It is a nonprofit dedicated to creating safe, supportive spaces where kids can show up, feel seen, and actually thrive. Serving communities across Metro LA, from Watts to Venice, the organization provides after-school and summer programs focused on academics, leadership, and overall well-being. At its core, it’s about leveling the playing field—giving young people access to opportunities in things like STEM, the arts, and college and career prep that they might not otherwise have. Each year, thousands of kids walk through their doors, build confidence, gain real skills, and leave with a clear path forward. It’s equal parts community anchor and launchpad—grounded in mentorship, consistency, and the belief that every kid deserves the chance to imagine something bigger for their future.
